Mallory Kennedy is a documentary film producer, author, and the creator of Energetic Athletics. With a deep passion for helping athletes unlock their full potential, Mallory focuses on addressing unseen energetic challenges that can impact performance and overall wellness. She believes that true athletic mastery isn’t just about physical ability—it’s about understanding the intricate connection between body, mind, and spirit, with energy as the foundation of it all.
Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Mallory has made a name for herself in the world of documentary filmmaking. She is known for her work on the award-winning Price Is Right documentary, Perfect Bid: The Contestant Who Knew Too Much, as well as MAD MAC: The Memory of Jim McMahon, an upcoming documentary that explores the life and post-NFL health challenges of the legendary Chicago Bears quarterback.
Her experiences in storytelling and investigative research into human potential have fueled her drive to bring the same level of depth and discovery to the world of sports and performance. This passion led her to create Energetic Athletics, a transformative approach to training that goes beyond drills and workouts. It’s about tapping into the unseen forces that drive resilience, focus, and success. Energy is the foundation of movement, mindset, and momentum. When you learn to harness it, you don’t just improve your game—you change your life.
Through Energetic Athletics, Mallory teaches athletes how to understand and work with their energy systems, enabling them to break through limitations, recover faster, and perform at their peak. This method isn’t just about getting a competitive edge—it’s about becoming the best version of yourself on and off the field.
A Note From Mallory
Ever since I can remember, I’ve been a cheerleader. –both literally, and figuratively. Helping keep team spirit, and morale high has always been a big part of my role. Whether it was on the sideline of a game, in the boardroom, out on a film set, or in everyday life rooting on friends and family, the job of head cheerleader usually falls to me. Can you relate?
Whether you have an official title, or not, being a cheerleader for your team is a very important leadership position. When done right, cheerleading can make a major difference, both on and off the playing field. Being able to successfully rally yourself, and the people around you, while motivating them to reach greater

heights, together, is an extremely valuable skill. Whether it's for your sports team, your business, or your very own household, when it comes to being a true leader, cheerleading encompasses a lot of what you must be willing to do in order to win.
I’ve worked in, and around sports most of my life, including as a writer, and a documentary film producer. I also study energy. --how it moves, behaves and how it can be managed to either enhance, or diminish personal health, and wellness. I call this Energy Management. In fact, “cheerleading” is the act of conducting Energy Management for your team. –whatever type of team that may be. Put simply, a cheerleader's job is to keep the energy high, and moving in favor of their team’s ultimate goal. This is Energy Management in a nutshell.

By coming to understand how energy works, and then applying principles of Energy Management to the way we practice, perform, and compete in sports, an athlete can become more effective at controlling the game, and creating winning outcomes. This is what Energetic Athletics is all about.
No matter the sport, whether you are a professional, student-athlete, or recreational player, Energetic Athletics will teach you how to successfully strengthen, direct, and manage your own energy in order to optimize, and elevate your personal abilities, and gameplay.
Control the energy. Control the game.
